Durga On Wheels is one of the therapeutic dance theatre production of Guru Syed Sallauddin Pasha. Pasha is the first one to use ‘Purulia Chav’ Mask Dances and Concpet for persons with disabilities (PWD’s). Initially, it was very difficult to teach PWDs. First teach them how to use the dance techniques on wheelchairs, next make them learn the movements, and later make them use very heavy masks on their faces. After teaching PWDs with patience, perseverance and persistence for months, Finally, Guru Syed Sallauddin Pasha achieved the perfect performance from his specially abled disciples. Pasha is considered as the father of ‘Indian therapeutic theatre’. he has innovated, choreographed and directed 100’s Dance Productions across the world.
