Syed sallauddin Pasha was delighted to be the Chief Guest last evening at DPS South, Kanakapura Road, Bangalore.
Myself, my wife Mahiraa Jaan were happy to witness magnificent dance production which was Aesthetically crafted choreographed. All the three productions Abhimanyu, Jhansi Ki Rani Laxmi Bai and Bhagat Singh were well-conceived, directed and presented by renowned Choroegrapher- Director Smt Vasudha Krishan
Introduction of each character in the beginning on the centre stage – and at the end with stage coming up with technology was highly appreciated.Periodically I felt it was a scene from Bollywood mega-production.
High-end drama and action when Abhimanyu was attached, the chakravyooha, the fights -dynamically choreographed.Wow! the introduction of all the three Jhansi ki Rani’s was an unexpected treat to the audience. The childhood, young and later matured powerful Jhansi Rani’s fight with British gave the audience a feel of real power of women. Bhagat Singh’s childhood, Jalianwala Bagh incident, bombing at the parliament and especially hanging of Bhagat Singh, Sukh Dev and Raj Guru Got audience tears.
When we all thought the show was over. Yet another treat to the audience awaited..
Indian Army dancing and celebrating life with a beautifully choreographed dance. The concluding concert of bringing Mahatma Gandhi as part of 150 birth anniversary of had applause with a standing ovation.
